An Integrative psychotherapist, Navneet (Nav) deploys multiple therapeutic lenses to work through issues current, past and their projections into the future. Additionally, Nav approaches his work in a person-centred way, working relationally, aware of multiple, diverse client needs. With client welfare at the core of his work, his extensive training allows him to develop the most appropriate therapeutic route for each client.

Nav currently works as a Psychotherapist and Group Facilitator for the NHS Practitioner Health Programme supporting the health of health professionals (doctors, surgeons and dentists) as well as in private practice at Addictions Recovery UK. He has worked in various capacities; from senior therapist and programme manager in a reputed British residential rehabilitation centre to drug and alcohol practitioner in a prison. He worked as an honorary psychotherapist in the CCPE- Royal Free Alcohol Liaison Service at the NHS Royal Free Hospital, London. Navneet’s experience also includes establishing and running the recovery programme of a premium residential rehabilitation centre in India.

Nav has over 20 years’ experience working in healthcare settings in the UK and, previously, India. Prior to training as a psychotherapist, Nav managed and ran his family hospitality businesses in India. When not working with clients face to face and online, Nav joins his spouse in their environment-focussed, plastic-free refill shop in Rural Northamptonshire. He is also seen occasionally found making barista coffee at their shop.

He also completed an MSc in Addictions, at King’s College, London. Nav is currently enrolled in a Research Masters at CCPE, London.

Long-term sessions

Long-term, ongoing psychotherapy is for those seeking to address and explore, in-depth, issues that impede personal growth and happiness. This offering could be for those seeking to explore impediments to leading a healthy, integrated and a happy life.

Issues brought to long-term therapy include early years trauma - including abuse and neglect; life crisis/crises - a result of either relationship breakdown; addictions; anxiety; depression; low self-esteem and self-worth; or grief and loss (whether of loved ones or opportunities). Long-term work involves explorations of relationships - both inter-personal (me and the world), and intra- personal (my relationship with myself).

Short-term sessions

Short-term interventions are especially useful for those wishing to address specific issues which impact their day to day wellbeing. Short-term therapy is often recommended for those with a specific issue they wish to address. It is also useful for those who are currently not sure about psychotherapy and would like to experience it before committing to long term work. Short-term therapy could be as few as six sessions.
